Our fitness challenges are designed to help you build strength, improve endurance, and achieve your fitness goals. We offer challenges that will focus on a variety of interests including cardio, strength training, walking/running endurance, and frequency tailored to push you beyond your limits.
Our team of experienced trainers and coaches have assembled these challenges ad will guide you every step of the way, providing support, motivation, and accountability to help you stay on track and achieve your goals. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or new to exercise, our challenge is the perfect way to challenge yourself and reach your full potential.

Upcoming Fitness Challenge Options
Our fitness staff records your maximum bench press, squat, and deadlift. Based on your overall total, ladies join the 200-500 lbs. club, and gentlemen join the 700-1000 lbs. lifting club! (You get a t-shirt) Drop-in anytime from 5:30 am - 9:00 am or 3:00 - 7:00 pm Monday - Friday starting July 17th - 21st. When you are ready to max out tell our staff and your lift will be judged for the club. You will receive three attempts per lift and judged by our fitness staff

Join us as we embark on a thrilling journey where participants challenge themselves to log biking mileage equivalent to the distance from their current location to their favorite beaches. It's time to dust off your bicycles, gear up, and set out on an adventure that combines fitness, exploration, and the refreshing allure of the beach. So, whether you dream of sandy shores, crashing waves, or the coastal breeze, this challenge is your chance to turn your biking miles into a virtual beach getaway. Lace-up your cycling shoes and let the miles take you on a scenic ride to your seaside paradise!

Yoga Challenge: Rest, Stretch, and Recover

Join us for a transformative month of August as we prioritize the essential aspects of rest, stretch, mobility, and recovery through our exclusive Yoga Challenge. Designed to enhance your overall well-being and promote balance in your fitness routine, this challenge encourages participants to complete two yoga classes or workouts per week throughout the entire month.
In today's fast-paced world, it's crucial to find time for self-care and allow our bodies and minds to recharge. The "Rest, Stretch, and Recover" Yoga Challenge invites you to dedicate intentional moments to unwind, stretch out those tight muscles, improve your flexibility, and focus on deepening your mind-body connection.
By incorporating two yoga sessions or workouts into your weekly routine, you will unlock a multitude of benefits. Yoga not only helps to increase strength, stability, and mobility but also promotes mental clarity and relaxation. Our Group Exercise Schedule offers opportunity to explore various yoga styles, guided by experienced instructors who will offer modifications to suit all fitness levels.
Completing the "Rest, Stretch, and Recover" Yoga Challenge in August is your chance to prioritize self-care, cultivate mindfulness, and create healthy habits that can be carried forward beyond the challenge. Join us on this transformative journey as we embrace the importance of restorative practices and unlock the true potential of our mind, body, and soul.

OUTDOOR YOGA SERIES AT THE WARLICK FAMILY YMCA
Outdoor Yoga Series brings yoga to the beautiful views of our outdoor boathouse. Classes are at the boathouse from 6:30-7:30 pm. Bring your mat and water and enjoy the great outdoors while doing a relaxing yoga class with one of our amazing yoga instructors.

GROUP EXERCISE SCHEDULE
YMCA group exercise offers options for all ages, backgrounds and skill levels in a fun, supportive environment where they can make their way toward better well-being. The Y offers a wide variety of yoga classes for all skill-levels that will allow you to explore different yoga practices and complete your challenge!
YOGA FEST
Everyone ages 12 years and up! This festival is for yogis, beginners, and anyone who wants to see what it’s all about!
Flow, relax and enjoy a day of centering the mind, feeding the soul, and inspiring self-discovery. Blending elements of wellness and mindfulness in a natural, outdoor setting, Warlick Yoga Festival features a variety of yoga classes and workshops across the spectrum to invigorate and energize both the curious first-timers and the seasoned yogi. Start your day with a slow flow warm-up and move into the day with your choice of workshops, vendors and meditation. Whether you are looking to elevate your practice to the next level or seek out tips and techniques to improve your practice, there is plenty of opportunities to engage on and off the mat.
Yoga Fest will be happening at Camp Tuscarora just across Robinwood Lake from the Warlick Family YMCA including activities in the camp area, open areas, pavilion, and platforms.

Stair Climbing Challenge: A Climb to Remember

In remembrance of the brave heroes and the indomitable spirit that emerged from the events of September 11, 2001, we invite you to join our fitness challenge: "Honoring Heroes." This September, as we reflect on unity, resilience, and the power of coming together, we challenge you to climb a total of 110 flights of stairs by the end of the month.
Each step you take echoes the courage displayed by those who rose to the challenge in the face of adversity, and each flight conquered is a tribute to the sacrifices made on that fateful day. This challenge is not only a physical feat but a heartfelt gesture to honor the memory of those who showed unwavering strength and the spirit of community.
CHALLENGE DETAILS
• Complete a cumulative total of 110 flights of stairs
• Whether you climb stairs at home, in your office building, or at a nearby trail, every flight counts. You can track your progress and share your journey with the community on our App.
• Join our online community of participants who are all striving to achieve the same goal. Share your photos, stories, and words of encouragement to inspire each other.
