FULL TUMMIES, ACTIVE MINDS, HAPPY KIDDOS

Summer can be an anxiety-provoking time for 16 million kids across the US who are struggling with hunger at home. The end of every school year means lost access to free and reduced-price lunches that provide regular nutrition to growing bodies. For a child who does not receive regular, healthy meals at home, the summer months may feel extra long.

Again this summer the Gaston County Family YMCA is happy to partner with Gaston County School Nutrition to offer summer feeding locations supported by our Y staff and volunteers. At these locations, meal options are provided for all children in our community 18 years and under.

PROGRAM DATES AND LOCATIONS

June 2 - Aug 1, excluding June 30 - July 4, at the following locations:

Cherryville
Cherryville Family YMCA Youth Programs Center
Breakfast Serving Time - 8:00 - 8:30 AM
Lunch Serving Time - 12:00 - 12:30 PM

Stowe
Stowe Family YMCA Downstairs Open Area, Community Meals to be eaten in the Open Area
Breakfast Serving Time - 7:45 - 8:45 AM
Lunch Serving Time - 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Stowe Community Off-Site - LUNCH ONLY
Location - 51 Flowers Court, Belmont (Rental Office)
Monday & Wednesday ONLY
Lunch Serving Time - 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Location - 635 Noles Drive, Mt. Holly (Rental Office/Outside)
