AT THE Y, WE BELIEVE EVERYONE SHOULD LEARN TO SWIM!
When it comes to swimming and water safety, no one is trusted more than the YMCA, America’s Swim Instructor. In fact, the YMCA invented the concept of group swim instruction in 1906!
Swimming is a life skill that fosters confidence, safety, and lifelong fitness. At the YMCA of Gaston County, we provide swim lessons and aquatic programs for all ages and experience levels, from toddlers just starting out to adults looking to refine their technique.
Whether you're in Cherryville, McAdenville, Belmont, or Gastonia, our YMCA swim lessons make it easy for individuals and families across Gaston County to learn essential water safety skills in a supportive, certified-instructor-led environment.
