YMCA Annual Giving Campaign
March 16 – April 25
At the Gaston County Family YMCA, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to belong, grow, and thrive. That’s why each year we invite our community to go ALL IN during our Annual Giving Campaign.
From March 16 through April 25 we are coming together to raise 400,000 to ensure YMCA programs remain accessible to children, families, and individuals across Gaston County.
The YMCA is more than a place. It is a charitable organization committed to strengthening our community by removing barriers and providing access for all.
When you donate to Warlick and Stowe, you’ll notice gifts are made through our Pledge 2 Plunge team pages. Don’t worry—these donations still support the YMCA Annual Giving Campaign and the programs that serve our community.
The team pages simply help us track fundraising progress and celebrate together at our Pledge 2 Plunge event on April 25.
It’s just a fun way to raise funds and build excitement while supporting the YMCA’s mission.
Why We Give

Afterschool Programs
Providing safe spaces for children to learn,

Summer Camp
Giving kids opportunities to build confidence,
make friends, and create lasting memories.
Safety Around Water
Teaching lifesaving water safety skills
to children in our community.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
Helping cancer survivors regain strength,
confidence, and community.
Through financial assistance and donor support, we ensure that everyone—regardless of their ability to pay—can participate in YMCA programs.

We are incredibly proud that 76% of our staff have already committed and our Board of Directors are right behind them!
Local businesses and community teams have stepped up as well, raising funds through sponsorships and participation our Pledge 2 Plunge event by spreading awareness about the YMCA’s impact across Gaston County.
Now, we’re asking our members and community to join us.
