Trick-Or-Trail 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

Join us for Trick-or-Trail, a fun-filled fall event featuring a 5K and 1-mile Fun Run on the scenic Sytz Family Trail System at the Warlick Family YMCA in Gastonia, NC! Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking for a family-friendly activity, we have something for everyone. The trail covers over 3 miles and is great for participants at all levels. Our 1-mile Fun Run is a friendly race involving participants participating for their enjoyment rather than competition.

TRICK-OR-TRAIL PARTY ZONE

You don’t have to run to have fun at Trick-or-Trail. Come for the party! We’ll have a family celebration the entire time with bounce houses, games, music, and plenty of fall fun. Cheer on the runners, watch the mascot race, and enjoy activities for all ages. Free and open to all.

Walk 2 Run
5K Training Program

This 8-week program helps build endurance and reach your walking, jogging, or running goals in time for the Trick or Trail 5K and Mile Fun Run. We meet twice a week for 60 minutes, led by a personal trainer who guides you through weekly progressions. Choose the morning or evening session and move at your own pace while connecting with others working toward similar goals.
