Our basketball programs fit the level of every athlete and provide a space where kids can improve technique and build lasting friendships! They experience a sense of belonging and learn what working together accomplishes.
Basketball League Seasons Offered
Basketball League for ages 3-13 are offered in the Winter and Summer.
3v3 Basketball League for ages 14-17 is offered in the Winter.

Leagues are based on the child’s age at the start of the program.
U5 (ages 3-4 years)

Program Participant- $95

The price difference takes into account CERTIFIED REFS.

PRACTICES AND GAMES
- Players ages 3-6 can select a team at the time of registration with an assigned practice location, day, and time. Options are based on first-come-first-served.
- Players ages 7-13 can select a practice location ONLY. All players in this age group will participate in a player evaluation process to help balance team play. Following the evaluation, players will be drafted by coaches onto a team based on their overall evaluation score. There are no cuts—every player will be placed on one team. Please take a moment to review the evaluation and draft process.
- Practice will take place once weekly with Saturday game schedules.

December 2 & 3 | 5:30 - 8:30 PM
*All players will participate in the player evaluation process for 45 minutes each. Player-specific evaluation times will be provided once the registration process ends.
3v3 League Details (Ages 14-17)
Join our 3v3 Basketball League for 14-17 year-olds and compete to be the best trio at the Gaston County Family YMCA! Register as a team of 5 or sign up as a free agent and we'll place you on a team.

Leagues are based on the teen's age at the start of the program and separated into 2 groups:
Ages 14-15
Ages 16-17

Please consider coaching a team this season by indicating your interest in your registration or contact us and let us know. Coaches get the first choice of practice day/time.
