Behind every life-changing program at the Gaston County Family YMCA are real costs—scholarships for families in need, supplies for youth programs, trained staff to lead and mentor, and resources that make a lasting impact. $25 — Fuel A Child's Day
After a full day of learning, kids need healthy snacks to stay energized. Your gift provides the nourishment they need to keep playing, growing, and thriving.
$50 — Provide a Safe Place
Give 1 child 1 week of Y afterschool care filled with learning, play, and support—no matter their family's ability to pay.
$100 — Teach Lifesaving Skills
Drowning is a leading cause of death for children under 5. Your donation empowers one child to learn lifesaving swim skills through our Safety Around Water program.
$150 — Change a Child's Summer
Provide a child in need with a week at YMCA Summer Camp—where they’ll make friends, explore new interests, and create lasting memories.
$250 — Build Confidence Through Play
Every child deserves the chance to play, no matter their family’s ability to pay.Your gift helps three children discover their strengths and build confidence through YMCA sports.
$500 — Combat Childhood Obesity
Childhood obesity has tripled in the last four decades. Your gift helps one child and their family participate in the Healthy Weight & Your Child program and provides support toward a YMCA membership to continue their journey.
$750 — Enhance a Senior’s Well-Being
Many seniors face barriers to staying active and connected. Your gift provides access to fitness, social opportunities, and resources to support their emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
$1,000 — Champion a Cancer Survivor's Warrior's
Cancer warriors shouldn't have to choose between recovery & financial burdens. Your gift provides one warrior with the full LiveSTRONG® at the Y program, helping them build strength, confidence, & community.
$1,500 — Feed Kids This Summer
Without school meals, many kids go hungry. Your gift helps one YMCA site provide daily meals and summer activities for children in low-income neighborhoods.
