WELCOME - The Gaston County Family YMCA is dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable after school care. As the counties largest provider of after school programs, the YMCA provides family-centered, values-based programs to nurture children's healthy development. Well-trained staff provide safe, affordable, high-quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work. Like all Y programs, afterschool is open to all, with financial assistance available. Staff members are partners with parents and other caregivers, working together to help kids grow up healthy, happy and strong.

Our afterschool care is offered at several different sites around Gaston County as well as on location at the Robert Lee Stowe, Jr. Family YMCA. Afterschool is offered from 2pm until 6pm. Please click the links below for more information!
