Unemployed Membership Discounts:

Adult Memberships: $3.00 per week

Adult (2) plus Dependents Memberships: $5.00 per week

Unemployment verification is required every three months.

Program Mission:

In keeping with our mission, the Gaston County Family YMCA is offering an Out of Work Workout Program. This program is designed to inspire participants who are unemployed to acheive a healthy spirit, mind and body, while providing them with the support and guidance they need to return to the workforce.

Maintaining a healthy spirit, mind and body are imperative to help cope with stress, stay in shape, and develop networking opportunities through career classes and a viable plan to be successful in a new career. The YMCA cares about you in every stage of your life, and we are here to help you when you might need us the most.
